Mark of the Geass

Gazing down upon your dystopian fantasy
Holding disdain for all that you stand
A convenient farce for all to see
An oppressive shadow cast across the land

Stripped of all but their distinctive pride
Uniqueness lost and numerics gained
Soon these Numbers will no longer hide
And a name will again be obtained

Oppressing the weak your power has grown
Enforcing the law of "Might makes right"
But in this you shall reap what you've sewn
For these people I will champion the light

A demonic rage fills me like a flood
Fighting your reign despite the cost
Still fresh on my hands is my brother's blood
And the memories of friends that I have lost

My Knights surround you in check
Your fears Framed within a Nightmare
Until your ambitions have been wrecked
Wherever you hide we shall be there

**Well that was fun to do.  Been looking for something to write about.  I was hoping to use some creativity on this one such as the use of Nightmare Frame in a different context.  It's probably not very good, but hey give me a shout so I at least know someone actually cared to even read it. If I put more time into it I could probably make it a bit better, but I usually don't like going back on things like this as the original feeling gets blurred. We'll have to see, hopefully someone will like this poem.  Long live Code: BadAss.. errr.. Geass.  :)

anime, poetry, code: geass
