Sarah's doggie Bessie told me I needed to update, so here goes:
I'm doing laundry. Oh, I can't wait to have my own house, where I can do laundry whenever without feeling badly that somebody is waiting on me...
Eric and I are still living at the old store on his parents' property, because he's still working on the house. Lack of fundage and lack of nice weather make it difficult to build houses quickly. As does lack of manpower, but then David started coming over to help. Which is good, except that we fight like animals every time we see each other. Oh, well.
I've been on vacation long enough; I need to find a job (Scott, can I use you as a reference?). I'm going to start applying for government jobs. Bring me some benefits, yo!
Harry Potter 7 was good, but I didn't like the epilogue at all. I've been reading about four books a month, which doesn't seem like much until you factor in that each one is about 1000 pages. Which actually still isn't much, but since that's about all I've been doing, well... Like I said, I need a job.
Watched a chick-flick last night, "Because I Said So". It's great. I love Diane Keaton. And Mandy Moore when she's acting (but not singing). I also like that she's gotten a little chubbier (although of course she's still thin). She looks healthy and cute and she's such a good role model for the easily influenced not-so-bright youth of America. I wish she would outshadow the other twenty-something celebrities. Alas, she's a good girl, which means she'll be ignored.
I apologize for the lack of content in this post. Honestly, there's just not that much going on right now. It's been raining a lot in our area. I've read a lot of books. Watched a few movies. Played with puppies and kitties. My garden is growing nicely, we'll have salad for months.
That's about it, really. I'll update later, when I actually have some... emotions. I'm not upset or discontent in any way, which might be my problem. It's just so much easier to complain than to constantly repeat, "I'm happy".
Life is good. I hope you're enjoying yours!
