What I've read: Still on a KJ Charles binge - since my last update I've read An Unseen Attraction, An Unnatural Vice, An Unsuitable Heir and The Sugared Game and enjoyed them all. They all make for good reading in these weird days. I'd also had Mary Robinette Kowal's The Calculating Stars sitting around waiting to be read since early in the year. I started it on Monday, pretty much cantered through it (it's a great read) and ordered the sequel on Tuesday which Amazon delivered as a birthday pressie for me on Wednesday. I picked it up at 2pm on Wednesday and finished it by 7pm. There is a further sequel but it's not in paperback yet nd I want it in paperback to finish the series so I will be patient! *happy dance* it IS out in paperback and I have just (pre)ordered it - as alas not due to publish until November. *G*
What I'm reading now: bit of a breather today and tomorrow as my flat needs some tidying and organisation, I have work to do for the allotment soc, plus I'm halfway through watching Away which dropped last week. So TV viewing for a short while.
What's up next: Well probably book 2 in The Witcher series - especially considering I bought the set as soon as I saw the series but I've only read book 1 so far. Since I picked up reading properly again around June I seem to have read 32 books (I blame Ailette de Boddard and KJ Charles) so I should really now turn my attention to the freaking huge TBR pile of 100 or so physical books in the bedroom. Some of those will then be either donated or sold to create some space! I may also be tempted to take a glance at what else Mary Robinette Kowal has written as well. *G*
