Let's see what is new with me...
I started to tutor a middle school student and have met with her three times now. I meet with her every Saturday for two hours. I usually have her read an essay, answer questions, do a little discussion, and writing. I hope it is helping her. I just know, for me, that those two hours are like the longest two hours ever!!
Alison came to Korea back on Sept. 18th-20th. It was pretty fun, I finally got to see a bit of Korea. On Saturday, after picking Alison up at the airport, we went to HomePlus so Alison could buy some stuffs. Then we came back home and had some Korean BBQ. We then watched a movie and slept. On Sunday we rode the subway to Seoul (I didn't get motion sickness YEAH!). In Seoul we visited the tourist place where they have so many shops selling Korean traditional stuffs. I really liked a lot of it and want to go back and buy some. I really liked the traditional masks. After we checked out all the shops we went to a Historic Palace and took lots of pictures. We ate at a Korean restaurant in Seoul for dinner and just relaxed at a Starbucks drinking coffee and hot chocolate. We then took a taxi home. On Monday, Alison and I just walked around Juan in Incheon where I live. She then took a taxi to the airport.
Lately I have been watching Psych and have spent two weeks watching seasons 1-4. I began season five but I have to wait for the rest of the epsiodes to come out in November.
On Thursday, or was it Friday, I had a really weird and cool dream and it has inspired me to write. Keeping my fingers crossed, maybe I can actually finish a novel. I hope! I may post some stuff about the story later on here, so stay tuned.
Saturday, we all (Roman, his mom, and me) went to get flu shots. It didn't hurt, just for the past couple of days my arm has been aching. I was also given some pills for post nasal drip. They also help with allergies and totally make me groggy. I slept for about 2-3 hours yesterday afternoon after I took one.
Today, I started doing yoga. I found some beginner videos on youtube, so I tried them out today. I probably only worked out for 25 minutes or so and it left my muscles all shaky. I am really out of shape. I found some more videos that I will try to do tomorrow. If I do yoga everyday for October maybe it will help me slim down a little bit as well as get my body in shape.
In one month I will be home! YEAH YEAH YEAH! Course it scares me to death to fly, but since Roman will be with me maybe I won't be too scared. We reserved our tickets last night for Nov 8. We will leave Korea around 8am on the 8th and from Korea we will fly to Tokyo. From Tokyo to Dallas, and from Dallas to Indianapolis. We will arrive in Indy around 4:30 on Nov. 8th. In 35 days, I will be back home. I can't wait. I can't wait to eat all my favorite foods (I swear I am not obsessed with food... well maybe I am a little). And I will enjoy seeing my family. And best of all, they will get to meet my husband. AND AND we will be able to spend Christmas with them! That makes me so happy. Christmas is not Christmas without my family. I also get to spend my big 26 with my family. OOOH B-day cake how I have missed thee!
It has finally cooled down here with temperatures in the lower 70s/ upper 60s. I need to start digging out my fall and winter clothes. I still get pretty hot when I sleep though and have to open the window.
That's about it for now. I need to get back to researching and brain storming about my book (again going to keep my fingers crossed).
~Until next time
