(no subject)

- So, one more week to go...then comes exams. did you know that i have an exam on the very last day of school?! ...guh! how wonderfully wonderful :P
- I lost my student card a few days ago...and i felt so naked without it. I believe i must have lost it on the bus. I called the lost and found and they didnt have it. that card had my all limited transit pass :(...So anyway, I had to pay $12 for a new one. only plus side to this is that my picture turned out good...a bit too close up...and my hair looks so flat...but i look ok.
- I got one of my tests back...and i got a 73% on it. I am happy with my mark, because i did bad on my first test and I am glad to see that i have improved.
- today, i had no class. so i was studying for my test which is tomorrow. There was a knock on the door and then 2 (young) men came asking for donation for sick kids. well, not donation...but monthly contribution. dont get me wrong...i'm all for giving money...if i had some to spare. But im planning on taking summer school, plus i have to send money to bangladesh for my grandma, and i may have to help out my brother until he gets a job. But the guy....he was really friendly...a little too friendly (a bit of a flirt too) got me to sign up for monthly contribution. I could have said no and shut the door, but he was a bit too pushy and i have such a hard time saying No to their faces. So (this is so sly! and evil) i plan on calling in a few days later and tell them that I want out of it. I am going to take summer school and i wont have any money to give. Sad thing is that i dont feel too guilty abt it :(
- before the guy left, he shook my hand. Later my dad called and told me not to shake a guy's hand ...well, men in general since its not Islamic. he said that if i didnt, i would have had my dignity and he would have learned that muslim girls arent allowed to touch guys (and vise versa). I agree with my dad. then he went on to talk about in-laws and kids. (how did he get to that....no idea)
- i feel so short sometimes :S
- i want to take a vacation soon. Either bangladesh, or some place where i know someone. someone i like and enjoy spending time with. My aunt was in australia a few years ago while her son studied there, but now she's back in BD...but that would have been fun. my cousin lives in london, but....... meh. we have a few family friends in the states, but i dont know them too well....
I just want to go somewhere on my own, and explore before i have to get married and make babies! the only problem with going to bangladesh (even on my own) would be that they (relatives) will pull me in on the family politics and money issues
