On to some thoughts about sports...
Everything about football officially blew this weekend.
FSU lost to Clemson. Bucs lost to Falcons. Fantasy team lost by one point in the final 1-2 min of MNF.
First, FSU. Although I expected to win, especially with them hurting on D, it wasn't as shocking when we didn't. Clemson almost always plays us hard, and it was a close game. A 1 loss season (so far) isn't so bad, but the fact that it came to a divisional foe makes it horrible. Unless we win out, and Clemson loses 1 more ACC game, we don't go to the ACC title game. To those who expect undefeated seasons, fuck off. FSU has had only 2 undefeated seasons since 1949. Most of the best years in FSU football came with 1 and two losses, including 1993's National Title coming in a 1 loss season. Quit bitching about losing, although it sucks it's gonna happen. Watch out for NC State and UF. NC State always plays us hard and UF is looking great this year.
Another thing, people seriously need to understand football before starting groups on facebook and posting on message boards. It's pissing me off. Whoever started the "Now that we beat Miami, it's Fiesta Bowl or Bust in 2006" group should go line up and play on Saturdays. Same thing goes for all of the message board critics. If you can do such a better job, or you know how to fix the problem, why don't/aren't you with the team. I mean, if it works on you PS2/X-Box, it's gotta work for real.
My Fantasy team lost by one f'n point, thanks a lot Roethlisberger for throwing that last INT. Jacksonville looks scarey good, and after last night I'm kinda a fan of theirs. The Bucs are still my fav, but Jax grew on me finally.
The Mets will win the WS if they play like they did all season (except the last series with Pit).
