I did a six mile run yesterday. Although i really tried to keep it at a slow pace, partly due to my aching knees and slightly sore calves from the day before bike ride and partly so i could really start training myself to run slower and further, i ended up running at a seven minute mile pace all the way. This sounds like bragging. Really i just want to feel ok running slower which i have no problem doing when i run with someone else who hooks up slower paces. I dont care about sped. I care about running...Any suggestions?
I also took an ice bath after stretching after the tun. Really it was just the tup filled with the coldest water i could get out of the faucet and a tray of ice cubes. I sat in there for about twenty minutes. Then i showered. And damn i just felt so good. My legs were still post sore but they felt so relaxed. I may have to repeat this routine.
