things are finally turning around a little bit :)
so, after a very stressful month, things are starting to look up a bit, i think. here is my list:
-got into U of Cape Town. now i just need to find out how much financial aid i got from them to see if i can go. but if i can't go in the spring, then i think i can defer a semester and apply for more grants and scholarships and such, and save up like crazy over the summer.
-conor is talking to me again, which is very good b/c he is beautiful and i like talking to him. i still have a crush, and still have completely unrealstic daydreams of us living happily ever after when i tune my professors out, haha.
-scott and i are FINALLY on good terms again, after about a year of stressful, awkward encounters. it's good to finally have that friendship back
-my biopsy went well, and my doctor didn't think it would be anything to worry about. i will get those results back in about a week or so.
-my birthday is next week and we're having a cocktail party for me :)
-i got a 90 on my midterm for social work
-i finally understand logic and feel good about that midterm, which i will take tomorrow (i was supposed to take it monday but the prof is incredibly understanding and gave me two extra days b/c of the scheduling of the biopsy).
-my philosophy of race & racism prof thinks i'm smart, which i was worried about for a while.
ok i think that's it, but i think that's a pretty good list. hope everyone else is doing as well :) i miss you all, love love!!!
