my weekend of awesomeness
so i feel the need to inform you all of my super badass/super random weekend. definately one of the best at college so far, and hopefully many at home this summer will rival it :) warning though: long entry, but stories that are totally worth it- especially the go-kart!
my weekend started thursday night at blue's. i havent been to blue's in a while so i thought i'd pay a visit and convinced christie to come with. so we headed over after my soccer game (which was also badass and fun and full of souhegan kids- wow i hung out w/ a lot of those this weekend!!!). so we get there and erin, kimmy, ryan, pavel, and all the guys that live there/are there so much they basically do live there were already there and having a good time. i was catching up w/ everyone (especially doug cuz he's real hot) while christie was hit on by yet another kid named fischer, weird huh? i played beirut at one point, dont remember who my partner was- i think pavel, but i was against erin and weeman. erin and i found it extremely entertaining to show our boobs off to each other as an attempt at distraction. (oh i think i should tell everyone at this point that we had bathing suit tops on cuz we were gunna go to a beach party at sig ep but never made it there). so this distraction definately worked against weeman, he was useless everytime he saw my bathing suit. but then all the other guys decided they needed to see too, and kept trying to get me to lift my shirt while i was no longer playing and then they tried to get me to flash doug while he was trying to puke up a half-liter of everclear, some whiskey, and a bunch of other random hard liquors. this did not happen. anyway, the night was really really fun and finally felt like summer cuz i was dressed like a hooch, and was wearing a bathing suit underneath haha.
friday night was sleep night, not very interesting. i tanned all that day too cuz it was nice out :)
saturday our hall hosted something called "ORYA Field Day" where we hung out w/ a bunch of little kids all afternoon and played games and ate food and it was a lot of fun. sat was also erin's birthday, so later in the night erin, megg, liz, jess, coppa and myself all headed out to our erin's & my friend matt's appartment for erins bday party. as we're passing james gagne's hall, he calls. he's w/ sandy whitney and chris barker and they wanna go out with us, so they come too.
while we're waiting for them to come down, we see a go-kart fly by us. yes, i said a go-kart. keep in mind its like 10, 10:30 at night so its dark, this thing doesnt have headlights and is not even close to pretending to be street legal- which makes it the most badass motor vehicle to pass through the UNH campus. so we watch it go down the street, over the sidewalk, over the lawn, through the woods, double back again and keep doing this all the while we're cheering him on of course. as the go-kart is down in the woods, we see a bike cop head up our way and head into a parking lot. the go-kart comes back around our way and then heads out again. the cop throws on his blues and heads after it. the go-kart decides "hey what the hell, im gunna try to get away; i can ride in the woods and i doubt this guy can" so we witness a high speed, partially off-road high-speed chase between a fucking go-kart and a bike cop. hands down one of the best things ive ever witnessed in my life. that alone would have made my night.
so then the guys finally come out and we head to matts and barker's complaining the WHOLE time about how fast we're walking and sandy's just spitting out random half-sentances cuz he's been drinking since noon so he cant really function at this point, which is awesome. at matts we bust out the 30 he bought us and erin starts on the bitch drinks we got her and games of beirut insue. james and i won 4 games in a row (which means we played 5 in a row); i still dont know how we lost the last one- it was tie breaker and we should have won! oh well, i then got to socialize once it was over. so i got to catch up w/ barker and sandy and coppa and make fun of jess who was beligerantly intoxicated and went home early because of it (ended up puking in the bathroom back here, then getting sex later in the night.... i wonder if kyle knew she had thrown up...ew). i played one last game of rut with erin at the end of the night and she doesnt remember this which means she had a fantastic night, and so did i. it was a lot of fun. then we headed back here and james passed out in here, chris went to get sex from some girl he knew and sandy went to find other random souhegan kids. james not only kicked me out of my own bed (i went to the bathroom, came back and he was sprawled over the whole thing and i couldnt move his comatose body), but he also left his phone. sandy and chris kept trying to call (seperately) in the morning so i picked up finally and the convo w/ each of them was the same: me "hello" them"hey...is james there?" m"no, he left a few hours ago, he left his phone here...i dont really know where he went, probably back to his room. you need to be let in there?" t"no...wait, who is this?" m"its katie" t"oh. ooooohhhhh... ummm, no i'll find him later thanks" end of convo. (ps the "oooohhhh" was unnecessary, nothing happened which is a good thing). but i still have his freakin phone! i dont want to be responsible for it anymore!!!
sunday was gorgeous, so a bunch of us went to the beach and just relaxed there and it was awesome. what a good follow-up day to a night full of partying. im so glad summer's nearly here!!!! 17 days...holy shit. but yeah so that was my amazing weekend. but this weekend was full of random souhegan kids and tons of fun which reminded me of all you souhegan kids that i love so much and miss like hell. i know we'll have great weekends- and weekdays!- like this during the summer. im so excited to see you all again!!!!! good luck everyone with finals, i'll see you in 17 days. i leave you with thoughts of summertime greatness.
