so last night the Gibbs hall women's soccer team had our first game, and it was at 11:15pm (kinda late, yuck i know). the other team didnt show, so we won, but there was a guy's team who's opponent didnt show either, so we split ourselves up and played w/ them. it was actually a lot of fun, although guys' shots are much harder to save than girls cuz they are generally faster, but i am happy to report that i have not lost my goalie touch. the girls all said that they cant wait till our first real game so we wont loose too poorly w/ me in goal. ann is the only other one w/ any real skills, so she's trying to score while im trying to save us and everyone else is running around like decapitated chickens. its really funny to watch. i have a co-ed game tonight at 9 which should be a lot of fun, too. im playing w/ erin, brie, lissy, and i have no idea who else. im guessing its the same kids from their bball team which would be just a bunch of the few cool track kids that are here. so the rest of the spring should be fun w/ those keeping me active since i seem to have forgotten where the gym is...
21 days till im home!!! unfortunately between now and then i need to finish: a 10-page paper (i have 2 pages complete; its due next week), a 7-page paper, a few more quizes, 2 take-home finals, a project, and my internship. at least i wont be bored, huh? everything but the papers should be easy and not take very long so that is definately a good thing.
i wonder how my social life will do with all this work? oh well, im going to theta friday anyway and then playing w/ little kids all day saturday...that could get interesting. then erin's b-day is saturday so we're getting her retarded yay!! ok i should get back to work now, see you all soon! i miss everyone!!!!
ps all you unh kids should come watch my game tonight! practice soccer fields behind the tennis courts, 9pm!! bring your thursday night drinks, you can make a game out of spectating our game!!!!!
