AOS and EAD
Whew. Today was the day that we finally sent off the paperwork for my greencard and work permit. This is pretty much the final leg of the journey. We have to wait for another form we filed over a year ago to get approved before they'll start the work for my greencard. I'll probably have it sometime in the next year and a half. That's cool though. So long as I'm here with the hubby that's all that really matters to us. Its going to take 90 days for them to get me my work permit, and then once I get it I can file for a SSN. The SSn can take 4 days or 4 months all depending on how fast the local SS office is. Once I have my number I can finally start working. This should be sometime at the end of the summer hopefully. Now that I've bored you people to death with all the fun technical jargon, I'm going to leave. TTFN
