Okay, I had just about decided that Giada Delaurentis was cool with me, despite the fact that her smile kind of freaks me out and she insists on overpronouncing her Italian, she seemed all right.  And then she put PopRocks on the creme brulee.  I don't care if she saw it done in France, crap like that ought to get you strangled by the undead visage of Julia Child.  So not cool.

Anyway, I survived my first day with eleven accounts.  It was suspiciously easy...which will only make me more paranoid tomorrow.  Besides things are the reverse from last year, where Monday and Tuesday were the suicidal days at work, now it's Wednesday, Thursday, Friday where I seem to be scrambling.  Oh, well.

Other than that, I feel a little allergenic, but the trees are blooming and the wind is quite brisk today, so pollen in my contacts is to be expected.  And I definitely need to get some yoga in tonight, I feel like my shoulders are made of wire hangers.  I should also do some studying and increase my regimen.  I spend most of my day wound up in knots for various reasons (work, not work, feeling the emotions of my characters a little too much), and I need to stretch my poor muscles so they'll quit hating me in the morning.

And my vacation has been approved!  Woohoo!  Now, if August will just get here, I can really relax.  Instead I will go update the Jane group of our whole new schedule and spend the next few days getting yelled at, no doubt.

I have also been informed that the hero in my latest work is a bit gay.  Well, I knew it would be a risk making him a florist, so we'll have to rethink things a little, as well as making him more manly.  Suggestions have gone from giving him such butch pursuits as mountain biking, rugby, grilling, riding a motorcycle, yardwork, and just about anything where he could either kill or maim himself.  His career will have to change as well, still something to do with plants, just not necessarily arranging them in a vase.  Wow, even now as I've just said that, I think he could use a bit more manliness.  As well as a couple of manly friends.

allergies, work, woohoo, vacation, strangulation, sleep
