Thank god the weekend is nigh. I'm so ready to sleep in and not have to go into work. It wouldn't be so bad if I already knew stuff, but my phone rings and usually the person there wants something that I don't know how to do. If they're going to saddle me with that responsibility, you'd think they'd give me a little advance warning, and you know, TRAINING. But since apparently this job sucks royally and no one cares to fix it, I guess I'll just make do. Fake it till we make it, people.
I wish my horoscope would stop saying I need to save money because I really really really want to buy that Snow Patrol double album on Amazon, because if I can't have a boy for myself, I can at least have nice tunes. Oh, and if one more person laments their local temperature being anywhere above 40 degrees, I'm going to show them exactly why my death scenes are so effective. And would youtube stop being a bitch and just load the stupid video!!!
...sorry, I'm a little high-strung, I admit it. But Burn Notice returns tonight, and hopefully seeing foxy Michael Westen will make me feel better. I probably need more sleep, and admittedly, my hormones are about to explode for various reasons, and it's January. I have cabin fever neuroses that could collapse the Golden Gate bridge. Man, January is lame. Can't wait for February to get here.
On the upshot, I had book club on Monday which is always a joy. I had a righteous quesadilla at work today. Must remember that Thursday quesadillas might be the best. Now I'm doing laundry, my little brother is in Disney World, and there's the distinct possibility of me having the whole house to myself on Saturday night for once in a very long time. I have no idea what I'll do with the opportunity, but I imagine something will get played really loud, and I might dance around in surround sound.
God damn youtube...why are you loading so slowly?! It must be these new features on youtube that I don't know what they're f'or. Other than inhibiting the Snow Patrol. In other news, apparently my mom likes the Coldplay song I put on her iPod. As well she should, "Clocks" is a brilliant song.
