So, Friday...
Ben from swing dancing likes me!!!!!
*gasp* He really does, apparently. And before anybody panics, he is already single and available, and we exchanged emails, and now I'm trying to play it cool while also not constantly smiling like an idiot. Oh, yay. I won't go into everything, because I don't want to jinx it, but he picked me first for the lesson practice, he picked me to dance with during the shimsham, and we have an equal amount of awkward, so there's that. He's employed, educated, good at dancing, has great hair, can talk about interesting stuff, and is taller than me, I can't ask for much more than that at this point.
Aside from that, I have been accepted by the Jitterbugs regulars as one of their own. I have been invited to an event in December, and included in pictures, so that apparently means you're in. And I can't really think beyond that because my brain is total mush from the week. But it doesn't matter, because Ben likes me. Eeeep!
