Hey, guys, like the new icon? I still have doubts about this new Holmes flick, mainly because I've been waiting an obscenely long time for the thing to come out, but still RDJ is dreamy. And I need more icons with raised eyebrows since that's my default expression.
Ugh, I really hope I can find a better job soon. I really dislike my job today. It was a long, boring, frustrating day. Brian sucked all the fun out of it last week, and then today my idiot manager wouldn't shut up about the stupid overinflated Yankees. I wanted to bring up the fact that my brother heard from the sheriff's deputies last weekend, that when in Omaha, if either the Huskers or the Yankees lose, the deputies get more calls on domestic violence issues. That's so lame that I think the Yankees can move to China, and the Huskers should definitely go there. I mean, come on, GO BIG RED in the Big Red Nation! People should really consult with me on this stuff.
Anyway.
Halloween was fun, I went as a Hipster Pirate, in my tight black t-shirt with the skull and crossbones, with my skinny jeans and Dread Pirate Roberts boots. Oh, yeah. Then Kelly and I went and bought pumpkins which was fun, and led to an amusing exchange...
Me: "Man, my pumpkin is cold. Oh, wait, you can't tell, you're wearing gloves."
Kelly: "Well, do you want to touch my pumpkin?"
*both laugh*
Me: "Yeah, that didn't sound like a weird come-on at all."
Yay for the Adventures of Lactose Intolerant Girl and Fourteen Known Food Allergies Girl!!!
Then we played Wii Tennis, and went over to Jill's, where there was chicken wrapped in bacon! Ohmygosh, there is little that can compare to that. Then we handed out candy to the most trick or treaters I have ever seen in existence. Serioulsy. It was a three-hour sugar feed. We went through fifteen bags of candy. That just seems nuts to me.
And there is still no House tonight, which I will continue to blame on the Yankees and my idiot managers at work who frustrate me and the impending Nebraska winter of doom. Oh, dear, I feel my seasonal depression already beginning to descend. And yet my dad is foolishly optimistic about being able to barbecue this week. Oy...
