Oy, we were doing so well. No dumb questions following my huge email to the Janesquad, and then Saturday I sent another which I thought was completely thorough...but apparently I was wrong. "How do we get tickets to the thing, email girl?" "Oh, gosh, I don't know, you could look at the ticket information that's on the email, that I've sent you once before, or you could click on the link that says the exact same damn thing, but beyond that I have NO idea at all."

...anyway, what's with the snow? Seriously, it's barely two weeks into October and we've already had snow on two separate days. It doesn't stick around much, because it's still fairly warm during the day, but really? My workhusband today told me about how six years ago at his sister's wedding it was 90 degrees at this same time of the year. Al, are you sure about this whole global warming thing? Though I have a feeling that it's going to be wacky weather this week, then go back to normal next week, and then be eighty for the first two weeks of November, because that's just how we roll in this crazy, mixed-up world of ours. I just hope it's not precipitating on Wednesday when I have spend time standing on the roof of the parking garage for the week's stellar event of THE ALL-BUILDING EMERGENCY EVACUATION DRILL!!!! I know you're all looking forward to it. I will definitely have to make up for it by going for French food on Thursday night, and swing dancing Friday night.
Ugh, I have to train someone tomorrow on a big ugly pattern that I don't really want to work on, but I should. Why couldn't they have trained our managers properly from the outset?! Because if they're going to pull this nonsense on me, they should pay me more. And the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of buying a motorcycle. But only if I move to someplace warmer. Motorcycles+Snow=organ harvesting sooner than I expected. Ick.
