Okay, today was infinitely better than yesterday, despite the pulsating pain in my teeth on the left side. It's either pressure or sinus issues. Boo...but other things made up for that nonsense. Solved my librarian problem, which turned out to be not my fault. Or anyone's really, but a new plan has been formulated, and I have confidence once again. And the rest of the day was pretty okay; fixed my user ID, finished training my manager (somewhat), kept busy, enjoyed a little of the air. I may have accidentally volunteered for the Fleet of the Damned, though. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually took the two fleets off me that my manager is SUPPOSED to be doing ALREADY. But who knows? Let's see, had good dinner, going shopping tomorrow, well, just taking stuff back to be exchanged. Hopefully, I can find something better than that really ugly pushup bra taking up space over there. I think something basic and black might do better. And NO padding, good grief.
Oh, and my taxes went down! The stimulus package actually reached me, and I made a few extra bucks today. Hmm...maybe then it's okay if I get that Victoria's Secret credit card...I'll think about it. I really have no need for more credit cards that I'm going to use maybe once every few months, and I really don't want to spend any more money this month.
Also, in the paycheck, I have yet another contracting rep. The one lasted maybe a month, but she'd been there a while. Temping seems to be very popular now. I think Jeff is the only one I know there now. I'm hoping this new person, Jamie, is a very handsome single guy who will take me out to lunch to introduce himself as my rep. Failing that, I just hope Jamie has all required brain cells and isn't insane. I can live with that.
I'm concerned for my Sunday plans of going to Julie's birthday shindig, since it's supposed to blizzard, apparently. I'd feel bad if I didn't go, especially since it snowed on the night of my birthday pub crawl and she came anyway. And I just want to hang out with my girl squad. Mother Nature, can't you just head back to Siberia with that snow?
Yeah, Friday! I'm so ready for some sleep.
