It's Hughsday all right

So my dad turned sixty on Friday last week.  Amazing!  Seriously.  I keep thinking I'm going to die somehow before I hit twenty-five.  Not like in a whole deathwish or extreme accident way, just for some reason I will not make it that far.  Anyway, so that was Friday, and today, he's in the hospital.

Nobody panic, like I did at first, he's totally fine.  He just had really low hemoglobin and that's currently being taken care of, he'll spend the night, have a few tests, and hopefully be back in front of the tv or whatever by Thursday.  It is a bit annoying because he took Monday through Wednesday off for kicks and he had the time to spare, and all that's happened is that he got sick and got to watch the painters handle the ceiling.  I did notice that Dad was really pale when I got home from work yesterday, and this is coming from the Mistress of Albinoism.  He was ghostly.  Edward Cullen had more color.  Mom though he might've had the flu, but they went to the doctor today and then when I got home she called and told me they were at the hospital, I had my moment of panic, and then she told me everything was cool.  And I actually get the house to myself for a little while.  Of course, I find myself watching Lorenzo's Oil, which only seems to be making me slightly more panicked.

I should grab Charlie Brown Christmas.  Now there's a movie.

And it's put me all in the mood for House tonight.

Boy I hope my dad's okay.
