Because I am bored and haven't updated in a month. Not like anyone noticed anyway, right? :D
Found on
fanplankton 's journal.
1. Answer the questions honestly. Change any question you don't like to something you do.
2. Tag some friends. Eight is plenty, but try and at least tag ONE PERSON. Lol, do I even have eight LJ friends?
3. If you don't get tagged, but want to take part, THEN PLEASE DO. :D
4. Remember to smile. Okay...
Who/what sleeps in the bed next to you?
Uh. Pillows? Your mom, ahaha. I am so lame, idek.
What did you last eat?
Pretzels. Contemplating some M&Ms right now.
What kind of books do you read?
Anything fiction. Usually fantasy and science fiction. Reading Nation by Terry Pratchett right now.
Who is your newest 'discovery' in terms of author/poet?
Not really "discovery," per se (because I've read their books before), but I have a newfound love for Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman after reading Good Omens. And Chuck Palahniuk, but his books are kind of creepy. I'd recommend Fight Club, if you haven't read it.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
Realistically, somewhere warm. Preferably an amusement park in Florida or something.
What was your childhood dream?
Which one? I had a ton. I really wanted to be an artist or a writer for a long time. Then I realized that I had little talent for both of those, so. :\
Name one odd item within five feet of you.
An envelope detailing the proper ways to use a book. Ironically, the "important" papers that were in the envelope are long gone.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I still love bandom, obviously, but I recently discovered the joys of the TV show Merlin. Also randomly started reading Yu Yu Hakusho out of sheer boredom.
What did you really want to do today that you didn't?
Learn to fly, develop spontaneous super powers, read a good bandom fic (Though there's still hope for that. Get to work, f-list!), cure cancer, play with a kitten, discover a new band, play Pokemon, the list goes on.
What are you most excited for?
Thanksgiving break, so I can go to Virginia Beach with my dad!
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
DeviantArt, LJ, various comic websites, YouTube, One Manga, Cracked
What was the last thing you bought?
A few books for Christmas presents.
What was the last movie you watched?
2010. The plot was rather lacking, seeing as it was just a multi-million dollar series of explosions and CGI. The special effects were decent. The movie itself was rather unintentionally hilarious because of the giant plot holes, implausibilities, and general ignorance of physics and science.
Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?
What's not to miss? The freedom, ignorance, optimism, beliefs, amusement in simple things. The idea that magic is real and Santa exists. Sometimes I still find myself closing my eyes on the off chance I might be able to fly if I concentrate hard enough this time.
What's your most admirable feature?
Depends on who you talk to. Some appreciate my sense of humor and sarcasm, others my intelligence or kindness or something. idk, I don't like to brag and that's what I feel like I'm doing here, so I'll shut up.
What's your least admirable feature?
Again, it depends. I suck at almost any social situation, so I'm really quiet unless I'm comfortable or around my friends. Also, because of my sarcasm (and my tendency to rant angrily on my LJ), I tend to come across as a bitch. My mom says I spend too much of my time on my computer. I procrastinate. I make angry therapeutic rants on my LJ (because otherwise, I'd be really bitchy and yell at people I'm around too much.) Also, I can be a grammar nerd sometimes. I don't really have an opinion about it, but people say it gets annoying. :\
Say something to the person who tagged you.
Wasn't really tagged, really. But hey. Congrads for getting me to actually post an LJ entry,
fanplankton !
La la la, tag time!
control_paradox and anyone else who wants to do it, I CHOOSE YOU!
