Otago Peninsula
Today's weather - intermittent showers with sun.
Slept ten hours last night. It was awesome. Today we had a leisurely breakfast and then wandered down to the Dunedin Settlers Museum. What an awesome museum, and it's free. We then did some souvenir shopping and bought Merino Wool shirts. And had lunch at an excellent bar - Guinness stew and Guinness in honor of the holiday. After we went back to the hotel for the car and drove out Otago Peninsula.
Two bird tours - green eyed penguins in the daylight and blue penguins at dusk, and it was a bit cold.
It turns out yesterday's long run equalized my strength with Mom's. Tired my legs out enough that I don't feel like the Energizer bunny. Oh well, time for sleep.
