Martin Gero's movie Young People Fucking is going to be at the Toronto Film Festival.
archae_ology IM'ed and said "WE ARE GOING". And I was like "CLEARLY YES."
Here is the deal. The best way to go to movies at the Film Fest is to buy a package of tickets[1]. The best one to get is a package of 10 tickets (which get you into whatever movie you want, so you can share with friends) it is about $154. So once you split it up it's not that much. We have two of us definitely going and I'm waiting to ask two other people, so there are 6 spots for sure, possibly up to 8. So this is a shout-out for people who live in/near Toronto and want to come see the movie with us. It can be a thing! It will be loads of fun. [1] You can go two ways. One is to buy a package of tickets in advance and be able to get in the ticket holder line up and the other is to get in the non-ticket holder line and hope that you can buy one. Neither way is guaranteed, but obviously the package buying way is better
EDIT: 7/20 -> There are now 10 people looking at going, 6 for sure, 4 of them are not for definite yet. So if you're interested, drop me a note and I can let you know when I hear back from the other people who are still figuring out their schedules.
