Then again. I ship a lot of crazy things, but I love Lorne/Novak. Also Liz/Ronon, and Liz/Lorne, and I'm trying to think of other odd things that I really love that aren't at all normal. Oh! Teyla/Heightmeyer, and Liz/Heightmeyer (I pretend that the Kate scenes from Echoes didn't actually happen, because season 1 and 2 Kate is my favourite). And possibly I once went for Lorne/Sheppard/Cadman. Oh! Cadman/Katie Brown.

I liked Lorne/Liz first and that'll always be my main Liz pairing *clutches the L/W scenes in Condemned & the Lost boys (oh my, the look Liz gives him in LB is...whoa *fans self*) to her heart* BTW, I do like Ronon/Liz too. He seems to look at her longingly/lustily lately. Eeeeeeee. Do you like Liz/Teyla?
oooh, Cadman! She could be another possible partner for Lorne *nods* but I can't seem to slash him with Sheppard. I can't read any Cam Mitchell/Sheppard fics either. I don't know why. Maybe because my OTP -first one I've had in *years*- is Sheppard/McKay ;) Threesomes are hot, though :D
I don't ship any pairing with Kate cos for some reason I don't like her much. I think the way Martin Gero & co write medical doctors kind of puts me off (I don't like Carson either *sighs*). *shrugs* I do agree with you on S1/s2 Kate. She's much more -how can I say? -agreeable? than in s3.

I usually don't read femslash as I have little freetime which I rather spend with John and Rodney (*sheepish* Don't you like them?), and yes, you're right about the sheer volume of M/S fics. HOwever, quantity doesn't equal quality. The ratio you mentioned there? Also applies to M/S fics, imho, and may I even dare 1:100 (god, there are so many M/S bad!fics out there that just thinking of them makes my head spin!). Of course, shippers like me are bound to find more good fics about their pairing than any other pairing. But still, finding one that doesn't make you cringe may be VERY frustrating all the same. Anyway, maybe the few good femslash writers are also good M/S writers who love other pairings and/or want to challenge themselves? Hmm, chelle did write a few femslash fics, iirc ( ... )

I *think* I've seen a clip of it somewhere, so it might be on youtube, otherwise I read it in a con report. But except for the teamsomes (hee. teamsomes) I don't ship Ronon/Rodney. It's just, I love that Jason thinks Ronon should be having an affair with Rodney.

John has some dalliances, but it seems more like he likes to make Rodney jealous. And apparently he doesn't go on dates in Atlantis because he spends all his time playing computer games w/Rodney
