Hell, this could probably be a running category on here.
I got a nice cut on my left trigger finger on Saturday while chopping some asparagus. It's finally starting to heal up properly and that's nice. It doesn't even hurt as much when I inadvertently smash it up against things as I tend to do.
Yay.
So what do I do?
I start playing with my cats. Well, more accurately, I scratch Master Shake at the base of his tail until he rolls over, then poke him in the belly and bat back at his paws. We play like that for maybe two minutes before he manages to hook one of his claws into that same finger and give me a nice deep cut.
Fudgecicles.
Clean it, Neosporin it, bandage it - just in case. Then some naproxium sodium to kill the pain so I can sleep (though the decaf French roast I had with a cigar earlier may help against sleep, too).
The combination of the chair height when using my laptop at the dinner table and the weird pressure I get when I play with the cats' newest toy, a laser pointer, also has gotten my cubital tunnel flaring up, too.
In other words, I'm a wreck, and it's my own damn fault.
Oh well. I've still got a gazillion points today so I'm gnoshing on some chips before I go to bed. But not many. And they are tortilla chips.
Though what I really want is a Butterfinger or Kit Kat Blizzard. That would be so money right now...
