I have a problem that i'm definitely not complaining about... employers and staffing agencies will not stop calling and emailing me.
i've been waiting by the phone for this one job to do tech support for napster, when i interviewed it pretty much sounded like i had the job but no word yet, probably because of the stupid hurricane, but i wish wish wish they would call already.
the staffing companies that used to ignore me have been calling here which is great... appleone had a part time job for at&t wireless but i'm really looking for some full time stuff, i figure if i don't find anything soon i'll just try to hook that up if it's not too late.
i have an interview thursday at custom staffing, which finds people for full time long term jobs, which is exactly what i need.
i guess pounding careerbuilder, monster, hotjobs, sentinal, etc etc has paid off, now if i could actually start working somewhere it would be a miracle.
on another note, how can the fbi not be able to translate arabic language al qeada tapes three years later? is the fbi so fucking stupid that they cant hire some arab people to translate them? they cant hire a couple iraqi's and fly them over here and have them translate? there's not one afghan they can hire? sometimes i really wonder about our so called "intelligence" agencies. maybe all those conspiracy theories are wrong because the fbi and cia aren't smart enough to pull them off.
