Road Trip!
So, this weekend's road trip was frickin' awesome!! 10 of us crammed into a hotel room and let's just say some people got a little cozy...We had 5 people sleeping on the two beds and I was one of the 5 sleeping on the floor. And you know the bad part about being on the floor...when the people on the beds start fighting with each other and they knock each other off the bed and then land on top of me!!! The first time it was just Jamie that fell on me, but the second time Jamie and Jason both fell on me (that one hurt a little bit). We then got up early to get ready to go watch the meet. I went to Perkin's with Jamie & Gina to get some coffee (I ended up eating an entire meal, lol). We then went and cheered on the runners at the regional meet and one of our girls qualified for nationals!!! The crappy part was that I couldn't cheer the entire day...I lost my voice!! Unfortunately, I lost it because I think I might have strep throat. I'm hoping it's not but it could be. I'm going to the doctor's tomorrow to find out.
At this point I still can't talk and driving 7 hours with my friends and being unable to talk or sing to our music was pretty crappy. But other than having no voice all weekend, this trip was a blast!! I just hope I can get my voice back in time for next weekend cuz I gotta be able to cheer for my Green Bay Packers next Monday night!!!
Anyway, I'm gonna get to work on a paper and then hopefully take a nap this afternoon. Talk to y'all lata!!
