Contemplating...

Well, two days into the new school year and I'm already thinking about making some changes...Not with my classes, those are going to be really good, I can already tell. I've got some pretty cool teachers, one that actually reminds me a bit of Ms.!!! I'm going to learn a lot, especially from Teaching & Technology, Electronics, and my Exceptional Child psychology classes. They will all be challenging in their own way, but I think I'm going to do really well at all of them. No, but I'm considering quitting my job at Dick's!!!

That's right, I know I've only been there for two months, but I've got a couple of on-campus jobs lined up that will be paying as much if not more than what Dick's has been paying me. I'll be doing some grading for my advisor's physics class, and I'll be working in the Physics help room and also be doing one-on-one tutoring with physics and chemistry students that need the help. It's not a for sure thing but I'm definitely contemplating it. This way, I wouldn't have to drive so far to work, the job would be more helpful to my major, keep my mind fresh on what I'm learning, and I wouldn't have to work late nights or weekends at all. And I could also get about the same amount of hours each week doing all of this too. So, if anyone has some advice or thinks I should go for it or I should keep my Dick's job, let me know what you think.

Either way, I'll be busy this semester but it'll be a good one. Also, I'm still getting ready for the marathon in October. I'm running a prep race on Sunday in Minneapolis. I'm looking forward to it...it'll be my first race since the Boston Marathon back in April!

Let's see, what else is new with me...oh, I got a new phone again today. Ironically, the same model as before, my other one's software went haywire last night (2nd different phone that's done that to me). I'm not too excited about getting a new one when it's the same model for the third time, but at least it works so I can talk to people, especially my Jamie!! ;) Obviously, I'm missing her tons. It's never easy to be away from the one you love for a long period of time, but our relationship is strong and getting better every single day. I can't wait to see her beautiful face again in a couple weeks!!

Yeah, so as most of you know I'm living off campus this year. So far, it's going pretty well. I'm living with my two best friends from UWRF, Kyle and Brayton. Being off campus has it's ups and downs though. You definitely feel way more independent than being in the dorms and you've got a lot of your own space which is nice. However, you are further away from everything taking place on campus and away from all your friends still living on campus (which is most of my friends here). I'm enjoying it for sure, but at the same time there are things I do miss about being in good 'ol Prucha Hall.

Anyway, I'm starting to ramble on, so I should probably get some sleep, got 8am class in the morning. Talk to y'all lata!
