These boots were made for walkin'...
I was babysitting yesterday at 6:30, on 20th Street, between 1st and FDR. But I get out of work at 5:00. So I decide that I will walk to my babysitting job. I take the subway crosstown, because walking crosstown would take about 45 minutes alone. So the subway lets me off at 60th Street and Lexington Avenue.
I then proceeded to walk for the next hour. For about 2.7 miles. I have three blisters on my feet. That was a long walk. And I will never do it again. First Avenue sucks to walk on. There is nothing there, except for the UN, which really isn't exciting once you have seen it once.
It was good exercise though. But seriously, ow.
After today, two more weeks of work. Woot! 40 days until I start school.
I will actually be in NYC this weekend, for a change. Babysitting tonight, out tomorrow. And next weekend I will be here too. Then the weekend after I am going to Lancaster, PA with the fam for some outlet shopping, and we are meeting up with the Pittsburgh-residing half of our family as well. Maybe the weekend after I will go to Boston :)
