- 12:18 pissed! today's vista update completely removed ALL of my personal settings on the computer. WHY??? do they do that shit? #
- 12:20 whew! false alarm. restarted after the update's restart got me back to MY personal settings. heart attack averted! #
- 12:23 kept popping up with boxes thanking me for buying a new Dell. had this laptop since '07. thought it reset hard drive and files gone, too. #
- 12:26 and i use it for work. have backups but not since jan 4. and an issue due today! thought i was going to have to recreate all that work. #
