Too much to do and not enough time
i know that some stores, especially crafts stores, already have Halloween and even Thanksgiving items for sale on the sales floor but we've been slowing receiving such items since July. This past week we finally got some Halloween items. So cool! With the start of school the whole mall has been slow. i wonder how long it will take before things settle down. A month? Meanwhile we're still working with a skeleton crew in the stock room and we're struggling to get our work done from processing the daily truck, working on outgoing shipments, and just keeping the stock room in shape. Our store is supposed to be a model for all stores and as a result we really need to update our stock room with the changes in new product. Today was planned to be just as such however plumbing issues, computer service, large number of gift wraps, and having to help out on the sales floor just gobbled up all the time. i even had rare help too and still i was racing at the end of the day to help out. The past couple of weeks have been like that where we are getting cut off before we can finish our tasks. It's frustrating.
