Secret shopped
Wednesday morning while i was working on my opening duties i was told that i was 'secret shopped.' i didn't know what that meant. A secret shopper had come into the store just the day before. Tuesday i was working in the stock room helping to process the truck (boxes of stock to be opened and put away) with my coworker. When the store opened my coworker was told to help work on the sales floor as our GM was working in her office with another GM. When my coworker went on her lunch break i was told to help on the sales floor. During that time is when the secret shopper just happened to be in the store. i and the store scored a 90 out of 100. i received several congrats from my coworkers. Even the regional manager mentioned it during the morning call. i didn't know how to handle everyone's compliments but in the end it's really a reflection of everyone i work with from their training, tips, and just watching how they handle customers.
