Awesome!!!!
Brian and I went to see Flogging Molly last night and they were AMAZING!!!! I would give them so high a compliment as to say that their show was almost as good as a DMB show. The reason for this is because their songs are really fast and they had such high energy and they did jam a little bit, which DMB of course is well known for. Also, FM just seemed to enjoy playing with eachother, which is another DMB trait. So needless to say I was super happy last night. Plus, Flogging Molly played at the Roseland, which is an old rock club. My sister had told me that its dirty and gross in there, but we loved it. We ended up in the balcony, center to the stage with an almost straight shot eye level view of the band. We were about 60 ft from the stage, and nothing blocked our view. When the two opening bands came on to play, all these drunk idiots downstairs started moshing and THAT was hilarious to watch. Bri and I sipped our beers and had a blast watching people push and shove and piss off people who didn't want to mosh. Then those people would start shoving back, so the moshing just kept expanding. I told Brian that I almost wished I was down there to be able to shove people. It looked kinda fun. ;) He just gave me this weird look.
Anyways, just an outstanding show. I am so happy we went to see them, and I can't wait for them to come back into town cuz we will be seeing them again most definitely!!
