Work work work!!!!
Geez, I knew I had a young face, but I never realized how young! This guy came into work today and he thought I was only 18! I've never been mistaken for 11 years younger than I am before. It was surprising and nice actually. I don't mind looking so young because then hopefully when I am 60 I will look 50 and so on.
I am getting super crazy excited about Hawaii now. Brian and I were talking about it with his family the other night, and that got me thinking about how soon we are actually going. It hasn't felt real until now because we are going in January. And the days and months have been flying by, so its going to come pretty fast, I think. Brian and I were talking about maybe taking a helicopter tour around the island, but those cost like $200. We will see because as he pointed out, when do you ever get a chance to take a helicopter around Maui? So we are trying to save and put some money aside for that. I don't know if we will be able to, especially since I still want to go to Sunriver with friends the first weekend in January. And then there is the yard to put in this spring. Oh well, Hawaii is definitely giving me incentive to stay with my workout plan. Since it gets dark so early now, and usually I go to work early and get home late, I haven't been running much, but the hospital does have a fitness center that I have been using and that has been really nice. I've been trying to go three days a week for an hour. And I've been combining cardio with weight training. Let me tell you, when I start to feel like I don't want to workout, or do one last rep, I start thinking about how I'm going to be in a bathing suit in a few months, and I don't want it to be a scary sight. There's nothing that gets a girl motivated faster than having that scenario playing in her head. ;)
We are also going to try to go up in the snow to get a christmas tree this year. Its going to be our first Christmas in our new house! Brian and I are getting our own tree! That feels so strange to me. I have my own house, and am decorating it the way I want to. Its still such a foreign concept to me. ;) I can't believe the holidays are here already. Where is the time going?!
