Two pets, now I have none :(
I think Missy also belongs to someone because I haven't seen her since yesterday morning. I am so worried about her, but Brian thinks maybe she went home and her owners took her in the house so she wouldn't run off again. I think he is partly trying to convince me of this so that I don't make myself ill worrying about the endless bad stuff that could happen to her. After this morning when she still didn't show up, I started to believe that maybe that is what happened. Bri brought up a good point. She just "appeared" out of nowhere, and even though she was a little feral, she definitely had been around humans before because she wasn't afraid of us. She let me pick her up, and she tried to get in the house several times. So after weighing all of that, I have come to the conclusion that she went home. I know it sounds ridiculous but I started crying last night. I got so attached to that kitten because she is the first animal I have had in 5 years and she was so pretty and sweet. It sucks that she isn't actually mine.
Sigh, so I guess we will go back to our original plan and get a cat in three weeks. I think we will get two so they can keep each other company. And I am not sure if we will get two kittens or two cats. I know there are alot of both at the Humane Society. So yeah, we will see what I decide to do in three weeks.
