Life just keeps rolling along
Life Update time
Brian and I no longer have a closing date for our house. We did have August 25th. We were approved by our loan rep. The underwriter declined us at the last minute. The loan rep was floored and pissed off. So we are back at square one yet again. We have like 3 other banks/mortgage companies looking at our loan and should hear something back tomorrow. We have some other options we can pursue also, so tomorrow will be D day as in decision day for which option/direction we pursue. Frustrating does not even come close to describing this situation. I don't even want to get into how I am feeling about all this. I just keep offering prayers up to Heaven. Its in God's hands, I can't handle dealing with this or thinking about it, so God can. ;)
Next weekend is Larry and Noreen's anniversary party so I am trying to wrap up my part of the planning of that.
Brian and I have been talking about our goals and dreams and how to make them happen. Also we both need a hobby that we can do together. I still want to get mountain bikes, but I don't know how we can afford to do that right now. I asked Brian if he thought he would like horseback riding cuz that would be even more incentive for me to get a horse faster. He said he didn't know. He has at least relented a little bit on the pet thing. Now he is ok with me getting an outdoor kitty. I told him I wouldn't feel good about that unless the cat had the ability to come inside, so we compromised and he said we could let the cat in the garage at night. That made me happier, and actually lifted my spirits a little. I was starting to feel so hopeless about the possibility of me having animals ever again. But this compromise cheered me up. Its small, but hey its something. I think seeing Heather and Rob's puppy last night helped to spur this along, so thanks again for getting your pup Heather. ;)~
The weekend of August 25th is our 2 year wedding anniversary. I would love to go to Sunriver or something, but now I just found out that that is the weekend of a baby shower for my new little cousin. My first cousin Matthew is having a baby in October with his girlfriend Rose, so my aunt is throwing a baby shower. So now I need to find a present for that and see if I can get that Sat off from work. I want to continue to snatch up as many shifts as possible now that we have a house soon (hopefully) and also because the end of January we are going to
Hawaii.
I know, I know we suck. ;)
Anyways, my livejournal font is all screwed up and so its time to go. But before I leave I want to leave you with a picture of my hair. I was noticing the other day how insanely light it has gotten from the sun. I am blonde right now and that is freaky cuz I have never been blonde before.
