this sums me up pretty well right now, i think. both the song and the film (i don't know, i would call that a "video" but the avett brothers are calling it a "short film!" so!).
i made focaccia yesterday! plenty of olive oil, sea salt, and parmesan sprinkled on top. however, i was using old yeast because i haven't been to the grocery store in forever, also i think i skimped on the kneading, because it turned out pretty dense. but still very tasty! just not the expected texture. i also made tahini-less hummus (i just added more lemon and some cumin), so that is what i had for dinner at like eleven. warm parmesan focaccia and hummus with extra-virgin olive oil drizzled on top. OMG I COULD DIE. i almost did. such a food whore.
LJ has been nagging me for a while to fill out my bio and profile. something about it seems intimidating to me. it's like the minute i sit down to fill out one of those "about me" sections i forget who i am for a minute. i lose track of vital elements of myself so that whatever i squeeze out sounds contrived and distant. i am an overthinker. maybe that's what you need to know about me.
