The bike ride home today was especially beautiful because of the leaves lining the road. When I cam home I found Mr. Rufus huddled inside a tent she made with her newspaper and liter tray. Mr. Rufus really enjoys hiding under her newspaper and eating it. She is actually sitting in my lap right now being very cute.
Golf courses are a wonderful places to run. I really like that coach has us run there about once a week even though it's illegal. It seems like he picks rainy days to go as well. We have two golf courses in the town of Farmville, this is weird because the population is low and the average income is under $30k. In fact one of these golf courses is even a country club.
Construction, construction everywhere around me. They are finishing up a Hampton Inn outside my window and outside my front porch they are building a cinema and Target. Parking at school is horrible once again because they finally started building the student recreation center, which they broke ground for in April. There are also Longwood apartments being created on main street. Every morning that I run through downtown Farmville, I run past an elderly African American man sweeping leaves from his drive way and sidewalk, this is usually around 6am before the sun is up. I saw today that he is selling his home and it is zoned commercial now. I will miss running past the sweeping man in the morning.
Kt and I need to go for a bike ride in the near future.
Mr. Rufus is amazingly still in my lap.
