Meh, tell me to sell all my old NES games, and I'll tell you to eat my shit. It's called sentimentality.

I don't want your crappy NES games. I don't even own a NES. Besides, can't you emulate them or something?

I was using that as an example. And by the same token, you can use the Apprentice to play Magic online without owning any of the cards, so you don't have to invest a million thousand dollars. At least I think that's what the program's called-- I'll have to ask Maggie.

The point is, I'm not selling my cards. :)

yeah that is a far better way to play, than MTGO, though you have to know the rules, in opposition to MTGO wich forces the rules on you.

A good example of that was "project x" which was unplayable online in MTGO becuse it took so long to get to a million or 2 million life by steps. Its a very popular and viable deck in tabletop

Also, whatever you are using to price your cards sounds wrong. Unless you have a truckfull of cards(which I know you don't) or have signed foils of cards(which I know you don't), then it will not cost hundreds or thousands of dollars to purchase them. Quit looking at Scrye(I think that's the magazine?). They tend to over price stuff. If you had followed the link Blackbellamy had posted up there, you would see that a Sliver Queen goes for about 30 bucks, not 70.
