Welcome to my journal
So I'm trying this thing out, we'll see how much I have the chance to update it. I thought this would be an interesting venue for a few things and since it is the start of a new year, I thought this was a great idea.
Happy 2005!! I hope everyone had a good New Year's. Mine was fantastic. I can't believe however that it is 2005.
This spring I will have been out of high school for five years. Unbelievable.
As an update to where I am and what I'm doing since I left my home away from home at SMC, I've now moved to Newport, NH with Joe. We have an apartment right on Main Street (next to the police dept...eek!) and two doors down from my fellow reporter James, who also graduated in May.
I got a job at the Argus-Champion in October. It is a small weekly paper that covers much of Sullivan County and some of Merrimack County in NH. My office is right on Lake Sunapee in the Newbury Harbor and the window next to my desk looks out over the tip of the lake. Additionally, it is like 5 minutes from Mount Sunapee... my apt is about 15 minutes from the mountain- I can't wait to go snowboarding!!!
I don't really know what else to say for now... I'm at work right now-avoiding the pile of stuff I need to do. Sounds productive huh? However, I worked a 15 hour day yesterday, which may be the reason for my lack of motivation today.
To my SMCers, I miss you tons and I sometimes wish I could just be at school again, though I really don't miss the amount of work I had to do. This is much easier than the echo ever was.
