The Secular Student Alliance Conference was in town this weekend, and while I didn't have the time or money to attend, sadly, I was made aware of an afterparty of sorts at the local Buffalo Wild Wings. So my roommate and I went to that.

Got all dolled up and went clubbing tonight (it was a goth club, so I guess it was more like Wednesday Addams' Marie Antoinette doll than anything else). Great success. There was an event where they had four female DJs doing a show all night, so that was pretty kickass; good music, good people, several of whom my roommates work with. Interesting. ( Read more... )

I'm using the internet in a coffee shop right now. Some dude just came up and tried to marry me and my roommate. Apparently he's an ordained minister. This is a weird town.

Oh, also we passed a black midget smoking on a skateboard on our way here. That is all.
