Long weekend.
I got fired.
Well, I was hired on a trial period, and they decided not to keep me on. My boss gave me a hug and so did like two other people and Samantha (this girl I worked with one day) gave me her number and told me to call because this place near her house is hiring and she might be able to get me an interview. Also Ruby drove me home. So everyone was really nice about it, and Ruby was all pissed that they let me go, so I'm pretty sure the owner might have canned me because he didn't want a workman's compensation claim.
So this is lame, because I liked it there and I hate job hunting and I needed that goddamn money. I tried calling Sam today and got her machine, so I'll try tomorrow. You have to know someone to get hired anywhere in this fucking state.
Anyone live somewhere I can run away to to escape Ohio's shit economy?
