Ghost of the Robot. Just downloaded their album "Mad Brilliant". It is seven kinds of awesome. Possibly eight.
See, I am a James Marsters fan. Yeah, that guy who played Spike, the sometimes-emo, sometimes-insane, always-awesome vampire on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and its spinoff Angel. He has a good voice. A really good voice. No, he does, I'm serious. It makes me happy. But all I ever found him singing was the tacky song of vampire emo pain he sings in the episode One More With Feeling, and I got sick of listening to that one pretty fast. So
sixwing, a.k.a. Muri, told me to stop torturing myself and informed me that *GASP* he has a band! And then she linked me to a torrent on Demonoid.com. And I downloaded it. And I listened. And I was far happier than should be be allowed.
The moral of this story is that James Marsters is awesome, Ghost of the Robot is awesome,
sixwing is awesome, Demonoid.com and torrents in general are awesome, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer...um. Awesome in a gloriously dumb way. Anyway, it's a great band. Check it out.
Also, on "Mad Brilliant", there is a song called "Angel". It makes me giggle.
