Went to a pub today with the roomies and watched Crew tie 2-2 against Toluca, thanks pretty much entirely to Steven Lenhart and his hair, which is on loan this season from Steven Keel. I should probably find a team to support that doesn't usually suck, and also whose colors don't make me look washed out and greenish

1. At some point during MM, although Lucci being a smirky superior bastard who clearly enjoys getting Luffy riled up didn't hurt, because I am terrible.
2. ...Well, the whole "diametrically opposed worldviews and history of betrayal, violence, and destruction" thing isn't exactly helping.
3. The fact that Lucci would just be CONSTANTLY EXASPERATED. Also they would have great fun beating each other up among other things.
4. They will probably never even see each other again.
5. In canon? ...I don't really have one. In MM, I wish Lucci had never told Luffy how he felt about him.
6. Um, pff. I'm such a multi-shipper that I don't really have anyone I'd be unhappy with. Not that I can think of off the top of my head.
7. They sail around the world beating up bad guys and constantly annoying/perturbing each other! Also Luffy never stops calling him Pigeon Guy.

1. Tough choice. Casually, when Erza punched him out on the train and then cradled his head in her lap because it was kind of cute and terrifying and I love Erza that way. More seriously, during the Tower of Paradise arc, because I think that's sort of when it became evident that they truly love each other in whatever way the reader chooses to interpret.
2. I doubt there's anything between them they couldn't overcome, but sometimes I think it would be nice for Erza to have someone more mature and nice for Natsu to have someone less mature. It works either way, though, imo.
3. They are both hot, incredible badasses who care about each other a hell of a lot. What's not to love?
4. I'm not sure either of them are at a point where relationships are a good idea.
5. Nothing's coming to mind. Fairy Tail, like One Piece, is one of those series where nothing stands out to me as OOC or Discontinuity.
6. Anyone else in the guild, haha. ~Multi-shipper~ But seriously if Erza ends up with Gérard I may punch a baby unless some serious 'splaining beforehand.
7. To be honest, I'm not sure if I see them as a "happily ever after" pairing. I think if they got together it would be great, it would last for awhile, and eventually they would part as friends but still be BFF forever. So...my happily ever after for them is BFF forever, I guess. \o/

Well in terms of canon, I can't see Oda just throwing such a great cast as CP9 away forever - they'll probably show up again in a couple of years, and it'll be awesome. :D

In MM... sigh, I will always miss them. I hope your #5 wasn't due to lameness on my part.

Tower of Paradise was definitely what did it for me as well about Erza and Natsu, but yeah, I definitely see what you mean about them ending up as BFF regardless of whatever happens.

Eh. Still unemployed, still mostly hanging around my house. Sometimes I go out, usually not. I tend not to update my journal because nothing interesting happens to me.
