My VCR now eats tapes. I found this out before sitting down and watching Dawn's VHS, which leaves me with both happy and sad feelings about the event. Needless to say, the foot-wide screen has few redeeming qualities now besides that it's color and we now have cable running into it. I suppose it's good that it doesn't take up much room.
Additionally, nearly everybody I care about is gone, going, or pre-occupied. Perhaps not permanently, but that doesn't change the fact that soon enough I'm not going to have many of my previous contacts. I would have expected this two years ago.
