1. Your main fandom of the year?
Gotham. Bats. Next question.
2. Your favorite film this year?
I don't really know, but I've watched Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Thor a great amount of times.
3. Your favorite book read this year?
I have no idea. I've discovered the Vorkosigan Saga, if that counts.
4. Your favorite album or Song this year?
That I discovered this year, Rammstein's
Frühling in Paris. Tears.
Or The Donnas' Revolver, which is one of my Bats songs par excellence. Especially for Bruce and Steph.
5. Your favorite TV show this year?
Criminal Minds. ♥_♥ showwwwww.
6. Your favorite LJ community this year?
Oh, what the hell. Yuletide, because it's my first year participating and it was great fun.
7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Young Justice? Vorkosigan?
8. Your biggest fandom canon disappointment of the year?
The fucking DC reboot.
9. Your fictional boyfriend of the year?
...I think I'm going to go with Kaldur'ahm. I would not want to date the others
10. Your fictional girlfriend of the year?
BARBARA GORDON. Babs. Oracle. I totally would date her, even with all the badohgodissues and heartbreak that would ensue.
11. Your biggest squee moment of the year?
ALL THE ROBINS EVEN THE GIRL ONES was pretty special an announcement, even though I haven't managed to get my hands on it yet. And I squealed in front of Judd Winick's latest Bruce/Jason fic - I mean, when Jason's in jail.
12. Your most missed old fandom?
I had a big nostalgia moment for Naruto when I posted
And then we'll make the rules.
13. Your fandom that you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I'd like to dip my toes into Vorkosigan as more than the fic-inhalation/procrastination stunt I did at the end of November/beginning of December. Or Marvel stuff.
12. Your biggest anticipations of the New Year?
When DC wakes up and brings Oracle back. *blue lantern ring* Or Legend of Korra.
Which TV shows did you let go of in 2011?
If by "let go" you mean "was kicked out screaming and spitting", Supernatural. Apparently I couldn't handle one more year of their [redacted]. So yeah, SPN, no more.
Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2011? Why?
I tried to watch Mad Men, but couldn't; I wouldn't enjoy myself. I haven't watched The Good Wife yet, and I've been making notes to. I've been meaning to watch Veronica Mars, Misfits, and Luther, but haven't found the right combination of time/motivation. (Also, watching Luther without subtitles is too hard for me. ;_; British accents are my Kryptonite.)
Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2012?
See above: The Good Wife, Veronica Mars, Community, maybe Skins and Misfits, I'd definitely would love to watch Luther if I could find subtitles.
Which TV show impressed you least in 2011?
Criminal Minds, season 6. I'd stopped watching it toward the middle/end of season six, and I would not have picked it up again if they hadn't repaired the damages of s6. I'm still not extremely impressed with what I've seen of s7 so far - stop turning violent on me, show.
Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2012 unless things significantly improve?
Once Upon A Time might be closest, but I don't/didn't have enough expectations to make ultimatums. If the racefail gets too much for me, I'll drop it, and if the show bores me, I'll drop it.
Which TV show impressed you the most in 2011? Why?
Pan Am. A show about stewardesses in the 60s? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. AND YET.
Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
I don't think I have those.
