Dilemma

I have lost my courage for this writing project (NaNoWriMo). And, at the same time, I have gotten a little of my musical courage back: I played and sang better, today, than I have in a long time (maybe ever), even though I've not been practicing. Dear girl, keep writing. Even if every word is ripped from you and leaves little trails of blood as it's dragged onto the paper, keep writing. I'm hardly one to lecture you, I'm younger, and less experienced, but writing can keep you alive.

*blesses you* You're right, love. If I didn't believe writing had life to give, I wouldn't be here. I just haven't found the Fount of Youth yet. (Lecture all you like--not that that was a lecture, more like lifeblood--you're more experienced than I am in the way of writing.) THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH. <3

i agree--keep writing. you must, if only for the sake of writing. every writer thinks the way that you do; you are not alone!
