(no subject)
I just ordered the girl's smash cakes and I'm hoping they don't end up on Cake Wrecks. It was loud where she was and I had to repeat things 5 times.
T-minus 6 days until birthday #1. T-minus 10 days until party #1. I taped the pictures into their baby books last night, so that is one thing crossed off the list. I asked around to find out the best way to do it, although I wouldn't bet a bunch of money that they'll be there in 50 years. The tape seemed rather flimsy. Perhaps I chose the wrong brand? Either way, I have a few more things to fill out there and then I'm calling them done. There won't be headlines or mementos from their first year, but at least I filled most of it out and did pictures.
I'm starting to get nervous about our pediatrician appointment next week. I feel like somehow, Caden keeps getting tinier and tinier, especially in relation to Delaney. At our Early Intervention appointment we talked food almost the whole time. I hate focusing on calories, but until I know where she's weighing in at, I'm going to have to. They had some great suggestions and in talking things out with them, I can see where I'm making mistakes, where I'm pushing Caden beyond her comfort zone. She's been getting upset very easily lately and I think a lot of that has to do with how tired she is in the evenings. Their afternoon nap has been difficult, mostly because they've been learning so many new skills lately. It all trickles down and then she wakes up at 7:15am HUNGRY.
