(no subject)
Sometime in November I found two posts online for homemade Christmas gifts that sounded cool. The first is a secret hollow book. Eek! So cool. I'm making one for Sammy and Liv. My mom had old books that worked perfectly. Their covers were weird so I'm going to cover them in wrapping paper. The second was for a snack mix that sounded different, but good. It had corn pops and white chocolate in it, along with a bunch of other things I can't remember anymore. I printed it out and of course now can't find it. And can't remember what blog I read about it on. I spent close to an hour today searching through various blogs, but I couldn't find anything. This recipe is the closest I can get when googling. I'm going to add Corn Pops as well, but I feel like maybe the other one had popcorn in it too? Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can't believe I didn't bookmark the recipe!
I winged a casserole tonight in an attempt to use up some of the things I have in my freezer and it really didn't turn out. I think it would have been fine had I had Cream of Mushroom soup in the house, but I didn't so I subbed yogurt and ricotta cheese. I know, I know, but it was all I had. I really need to restock my pantry.
