Quickly, while the girls are napping -

* I'm afraid I may remain rather MIA around here until I go back to work. The girls require a lot more of my time these days and when they do nap, my to do list is long and so computer time is at the bottom.

* Speaking of my to do list, last week it was terribly long and I was super stressed about it. Every day I would stare at it and watch the hours tick by as nothing was crossed off. Escaping into the day job on Friday to show off the girls was liberating - no to do list there! But, my parents came up over the weekend and everything is now crossed off. It's amazing the weight this has lifted from my shoulders. I know with newborn twins I shouldn't expect to get anything done around the house, but it doesn't stop the grass from growing or the flowers from needing planting/watering.

* Their 9am bottle includes their Zantac and vitamins and it is always a rough one. Delaney spit up a lot after and so was awake at a time she would normally be napping. We hit Target because I thought the ride in the car/stroller would give her a nice nap, but it wasn't long enough. She's soooo fighting sleep up there, I can totally hear her grunting and groaning!

* My birthday was last weekend. It was a non event, which was fine. Last year I did it up in New York, this year we shopped for flowers. I have a feeling it will be like this for a while and I'm totally okay with it. It was amazing to get out for sushi with the girls though, equally nice to have girl time and sushi.

* Advertising works. The Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches are soooo good. I highly recommend them. Also amazing is the Valencia orange juice. It tastes like the fancy orange juice you get at good hotels. It's astounding how many commercials you watch when you watch live tv.

* I have no core strength after the babies. My tummy pooch means most of my jeans and pants don't fit, and my lack of muscle means my lower back hurts. After watching many commercials, I decided on the Crunchless Abs. Before purchasing I wisely looked up some reviews. Apparently they don't ship the DVD's for several months, and then they ship a DVD each month! Cancelling is a bitch and so people recommended you go to eBay for them. I checked eBay and most were going for over $30. I bought a Pilates DVD at Target instead.

* The nanny and I are totally voting on all of our phones for David Cook tonight. The other David can sing fine, but there's no way he should win this thing.

* The program I did for IVF covered everything, but the clinic still submitted things to insurance. I was told I would be reimbursed for anything insurance covered. Last week I called to remind them of this and today I got the check. $1300! Hello treadmill, welcome back sanity!
