Avengers Assemble! (no spoilers)
I saw The Avengers yesterday and, in one word: awesome.
In two words: fucking awesome!
It was full of action, funny and brilliant.
There was a plot twist the trailer didn't give away - yay!
And one I feared would happen and it did, although I could be convinced that it only seemed as if it did.
Hulk was awesome in it. Yes, I'm a huge Iron Man fan, and he was brilliant - snarky, arrogant and ...so RDJ, but Hulk was so very enjoyable.
And I didn't know Cobie Smulders was in it - I kept staring at her character for half an hour before it finally clicked.
And the scene at the end of the credits showed the next villain....predictable, but this villain is a classic one.
I don't think that 3D was really necessary, but what the hell - Avengers, friends and dinner at a faux!American diner - awesome night.
