I'm pretty sure you weren't going to be a "friend" as soon as you decided to cause severe property damage, lady. You really ruined your case right there from the start.

I seek to expedite the process of this tournament. Victory shall go to the most worthy, that fact is simple. As rational beings, then, we should be able to discuss with civility and determine amongst ourselves who the most worthy is.

... Wouldn't deciding "who the most worthy is" be done, in, you know, the actual tournament? Through the duels themselves?

However, in doing so, we show our skills and strength to our greatest foes, the ones who shall bring Ragnarok upon us. Rather than fighting each other, it would instead be more efficient to unite under one banner, as one army against them.
